If you live in Virginia, you may start to see a new license plate around. The Shenandoah National Park Trust, a non-profit organization, who’s primary purpose is to raise awareness and interest of the Shenandoah National Park, have succeeded in there goal to offer Virginians a park license plate. The plate offers a scenic portrait of the Blue Ridge mountains and a black bear, to signify the abundant beauty the park has to offer, especially to the outdoor enthusiast. Virginia offers many different license plate options, however, by purchasing one of these plates you will help support the Shenandoah National Park by raising awareness and interest (and if they get enough people interested a potion of the proceeds will be directly allocated to the park)!  Personally, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one!
